“Where Memory Grows developed from an exploration of memory as landscape—where color, gesture, and rhythm stand in for what cannot be named. Built through layered marks and restless chromatic fields, the painting evokes a garden not as a place of cultivation, but as a site of return, where traces of presence linger long after form has dissolved.

Rather than depicting figures, this work allows absence to speak through movement and light. What grows here is not botanical, but emotional: a persistence of feeling, a sense of having been accompanied. The garden becomes a threshold—between what was tended and what now grows wild—inviting the viewer to sense what remains unseen yet unmistakably present.” ~AP
